«Elisabeth Yndestad´s debut EP was released on Grand Slam Happytime Records in 2006 with the single ‘Happy Twist’. In 2008 she had her debut as a writer, published as one of the contributors in the Norwegian anthology «Signaler 08». Her first book «Forvillelsen» - a collection of poems - is scheduled for release in spring 2011 by the Norwegian publisher Cappelen Damm. We’re now waiting for both a book and a debut album - the latter to be released on the fine record label REC90, located in Bergen, her hometown. Still in possession of some of the demos and scetches she made during her two year stay here in Oslo, we can’t think of any real competition for her as a female Norwegian songwriter. Elisabeth Yndestad has also contributed on British singer-songwriter Ed Laurie’s album ‘Meanwhile In The Park’.»
