The Holstein United Bluegrass Boys - now a four-piece with clawhammer-banjo, stripped arrangements and new tunes from lead singer Audun Haugeplass - are rendering a new direction for the band as they are tying bonds beyond the bluegrass framework. The album is due in February 2011.

The songs wiill be from the very repertoire the four ladies has sung together for more than 60 years - more than one hundered songs, not previously recorded or written down, orally transmitted from generation to generation - and the album is produced by Per Aasmund Aarnes.
